You can see Invisible Secrets 4 on work by taking this quick tour through its' main functions.
Main Page

When you start the program the main menu
will open. On the main page the security
features are displayed in sections: hide/unhide
files, encrypt/decrypt files, create self
decrypting packages, shred files, destroy
internet traces, IP to IP secure password
transfer, lock applications, passwords manager.

Hide
|
To hide files first select
the action - hide files - from the
main menu (or in a shell application right-click
a file and select Invisible Secrets 4/Hide)
and select the files you want to
hide. The second step is to select the
desired carrier (the file in which you
want to hide the information), specify
a password and the encryption algorithm,
specify the name and location of the
target file.
After the hiding process is done select
what you want to do next with the resulted
file: explore output folder, review carrier
file, email carrier file or send it by FTP
connection. |

Unhide
|
To unhide files first select
the action - unhide files - from
the main menu (or in a shell application
right-click a file and select Invisible
Secrets 4/Unhide) and select the files
you want to unhide. The second step is to
specify the password and the encryption
algorithm, then select the destination
folder and the files you want to unhide.
When the unhide process is done you can
choose to explore the folder wher you extracted
the files. |

Encrypt
|
To encrypt files first select
the action - encrypt files - from
the main menu (or in a shell application
right-click a file and select Invisible
Secrets 4/Encrypt) and select the files
and folders you want to encrypt. The
second step is to specify the password
and the encryption algorithm.
When the encryption process is done you
can choose to send the encrypted file by
mail. |

Decrypt
|
To decrypt files first select
the action - decrypt files - from
the main menu (or double-click the encrypted
file in Windows Explorer) and select
the files and folders you want to Decrypt.
The second step is to specify the password
and the encryption algorithm.

|
|
Create Self-Decrypting Packages
|
To create a self decrypting
package first select the action - create
self decrypting packages - from the
main menu and select the files and folders
you want to include in the package. On the
second step you must specify the password
and you can select a destination folder
for the package, you can choose to send
the package by email and/or shred the original
files when done.

|
Shred Files
|
To delete files beyond recovery
(shred) first select the action - shred
files - from the main menu and then
select the files and folders you
want to destroy. You must be aware that
shredded files can not be recovered! |

|
Destroy Internet Traces
|
To destroy all the Internet
Traces, first select the action - destroy
internet traces - from the main menu.
Then check all the traces you want to
destroy: internet cache, cookies, recently
typed URLs, Internet Explorer History and
Most Recently Used Documents / Applications.

|
IP-to-IP Secure Password Transfer
|
To make an IP to IP secure
password transfer, first select the action
- IP-to-IP secure password transfer
- from the main menu. You must know which
computer will receive the password and which
computer will transmit the password. The
receiver has to select receive
password action, the transmitter
has to select transmit password action,
fill in the IP of the receiver and to type
in the password to transmit. |

|
Lock Applications
|
To lock an application,
first select the action - Lock Applications
- from the main menu. Then you will have
to type in the password for the locker (you'll
have to set this password the first time
you run the feature and can be changed afterwords
from Locker Settings). Click lock new
application and then choose the application
you want to lock and click the Lock
button. When you want to unlock a locked
application, simply select the application
(from the locker) and click the unlock button.
You can run a locked applications from the
locker by double clicking the icon of the
desired application, by pressing the locker
hot-key or from the tray menu: right-click
the tray icon and select run locked application,
then type in the password, choose the application
and click run. |

Password Manager
|
To use the Password Manager click Passwords
button from the mainpage.
First time you run the application you will
be asked for a password for the default
passwords list.
You can create new passwords lists
by clicking new password list button. For
every list created you will have to specify
a name (description) and an access
key. You can choose manage passwords
lists to manage all your lists: add
new lists, destroy lists, edit list (add/remove/edit
passwords from the list) and change the
properties of a specified list.
